I'd like to develop a module for some self-hosted genealogy software that I use and make it available to others. This will allow a users to search for records and attach to their own hosted trees. However, this would require that I either expose my API key to world+dog or would require each user to obtain their own API key, and it appears that the system isn't really setup for that.

How do I handle this situation or am I SOL?
