Historical Images: API access to image list of a groupId?

Individual image download is enabled.
Is there an official API or documented method to retrieve:
- the list of image identifiers belonging to a groupId
- image metadata for all images in the group
- historical image URLs for private genealogy research
I am looking for a documented and permitted approach, not scraping.
